Now, domestic authentication agencies are divided into NPKI (National Public Key Infrastructure) and GPKI (Government Public Key Infrastructure).
NPKI is generally known as the official authentication agencies and leaded by KISA. It is composed with Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute, National Computerization Agency, Korea Electronic Certification Authority, Korea Information Certification Authority Inc., Korea Securities Computer Corp., KTNET. GPKI is exclusively used by public service personnel and leaded by GCMA (Government Certificate Management Authority). It is linked with the Ministry of Government and Administrations of Home Affairs, Supreme Public Prosecutor’s office, Supreme Court of Korea.
The primary tasks to supply more services in the wired or wireless internet are to execute identification and e-signature. So, we integrate and develop systems in authentication agencies and apply authentication application systems. We will do our best to support authentication agencies in every area like trade certification, distribution of documents, and statistic system of certification.
